Welcome to Highlands Family Chiropractic! In our warm and friendly practice, patients of all ages will feel relaxed and at home. You’ll know you’re in the right place to embark on your healing journey. To save time, we will email your paperwork to you and have you fill it out electronically.
We also encourage you to wear athletic wear or clothing that doesn’t restrict motion.
Your First Visit
At this initial appointment, our goal is to find out what’s going on.
Your first appointment includes
- A thorough consultation and history
- A detailed examination
- Posture assessment!
- Range of motion analysis
- Detailed orthopedic testing
- Comprehensive neurological testing
- On site digital X-Rays if needed.
Please plan on being here for about 30-45 minutes.
Follow-Up Visits
n subsequent visits, Dr. Hicks and staff will go over his findings from your first visit. We’ll discuss your goals and create a plan that takes into account your time, objectives and budget. Dr. Hicks will give you any additional adjustments on this day.
This appointment takes about 30 minutes.

Dr. Hicks was a referral from our primary care doctor. My daughter suffers from pretty bad scoliosis and has been in quite a bit of pain. After seeing Dr. Hicks, I know that we are in good hands. Dr. Hicks is dramatically better than most chiropractors I have used in the past — and due to auto accidents and other assorted injuries, I’ve used many. His adjustments are gentle but get the job done. He does not try to sell a wild assortment of supplements which you may or may not need.
